Penske Logistics Honored by General Motors as a 2004 Supplier of the Year
READING, PA (May 12, 2005) - Penske Logistics was named a General Motors 2004 Supplier of the Year for its overall business performance in providing GM with world-class service and notable contributions to helping the company attain its goal of becoming the industry's low-cost producer of quality vehicles. Vince Hartnett, president, Penske Logistics, accepted the award on behalf of the company on Saturday, April 23, at the General Motors Vehicle Engineering Center in Warren, Mich.

The GM Supplier of the Year award began as a global program in 1992. Award winners are selected by a global team of executives from purchasing, engineering, manufacturing and logistics who base their decisions on supplier performance in quality, service, technology and price. This year, General Motors honored 78 suppliers for their excellence throughout 2004.
