Bridgestone and Penske Truck Leasing Extend Business Relationship
Penske Truck Leasing has extended their contract with Bridgestone Americas, to test, develop and deploy Bridgestone advanced fleet technology and mobility solutions. As part of the agreement, Penske will also remain a preferred customer of Bridgestone commercial tires and Bandag retread tires.
"Our collaboration with Bridgestone is an important one," said Paul Rosa, senior vice president of procurement and fleet planning, Penske Truck Leasing. "Together, we are able to provide our fleet customers with continued reliability, performance, over-the-road support, and enhanced sustainability."
With this contract renewal, the two companies will pursue ongoing collaboration on technologies and products that offer more efficient and sustainable outcomes for fleet mobility and fleet management.
Bandag retread tires, which are utilized by Penske as a core component of the partnership, offer significant environmental benefits including reduced CO2 emissions, natural resource extraction, water consumption, air pollution and land use, when compared to ultra-low cost, single-use commercial tires.
