Penske Logistics Placed on Food Logistics Top Green Providers List

Penske Logistics has gained entry to the 2014 Top Green Providers list that is published by Food Logistics magazine. According to the publication, the list focuses on sustainability in the global food supply chain with profiles of companies who are exceeding industry standards in their sector.

This year’s list includes food producers and manufacturers and transportation and logistics providers, equipment manufacturers, and others whose products and services are driving sustainability.

“In the food and beverage sector, sustainability and environmental stewardship are primary considerations given the unique relationship between businesses in this sector and our planet’s natural resources,” explained Lara L. Sowinski, the magazine’s editor-in-chief.

Drew Cullen, Penske vice president of fuels and environmental affairs stated: “It is an honor to be recognized by Food Logistics Magazine for our company’s commitment to providing sustainable transportation solutions to the food service industry.”
