Penske Logistics to Take Part in Leading Supply Chain Conference
This month marks the return of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) annual conference. Penske Logistics will be front and center at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Kissimmee, Florida, as a Global Sponsor and industry expert.
With thousands of supply chain management professionals in attendance from September 25-28:
- Marc Althen, Penske Logistics president, will lend his expertise once again as a panelist for the world renowned CSCMP State of Logistics Report, which is presented by Penske. He will be joined by supply chain leaders from top companies. This is the first year strategic consulting firm A.T. Kearney is author and researcher. - The forward-looking 2017 Third-Party Logistics Study, The State of Logistics Outsourcing, will be unveiled and will include Penske’s Tom McKenna, senior vice president of logistics engineering and technology, discussing big data and supply chain technology. Other topics to be highlighted by Dr. John Langley of Penn State University and Capgemini Consulting’s Melissa Hadhazy and Shanton Wilcox include logistics optimization, supply chain visibility, end-of-lifecycle and the role of 3PLs in supply chain transformation. The top speakers at the conference are Captain Scott Kelly, a U.S. astronaut, and Seth Bodnar, GE Transportation’s chief digital officer.
