READING, Pa., June 29, 2006 - Today, Penske Truck Leasing issued the following statement regarding its Reading, Pa. District location and the impact of the flooding on operations in that area:

  • Penske Truck Leasing is fully operational and in control of the situation impacting its Reading District facility, customers and employees.
  • Due to heavy flooding and related damage Penske Truck Leasing's Reading, Pa. District located at 255 Riverfront Drive will remain closed until further notice. A damage assessment and initial cleanup efforts are underway. We are unable to provide an estimate or comment on the extent of the damages to our facility at this time.
  • Penske Truck Leasing's headquarters located near Reading, Pa. is fully operational and was not impacted by the flooding.
  • Penske will provide additional updates as information becomes available.
