Penske Truck Leasing Opens New Facility in Elk Grove, Ill.

READING, Pa., September 25, 2008 - Penske Truck Leasing today announced the opening of its new 24,000 square-foot state-of-the-art facility, in the Chicago, Ill. suburb of Elk Grove, at 1200 Busse Road. The 7.5 acre location will employ 60 associates and maintains over 1,200 vehicles onsite, while servicing nearly 180 customers. Penske offers commercial and consumer truck rental services, full-service truck leasing and contract maintenance.

Penske is closing its existing facility at 2100 Busse Road in Elk Grove.

The one-story building features five service bays, an automated truck washing bay and a three-lane fuel island with high-speed fuel pumps for fast, efficient service. This structure, part of Penske's expansion efforts across North America, features new facility design elements intended to enhance the customer experience.

A wireless technology component allows Penske service technicians to integrate various vehicle diagnostic and repair software. To save energy, GE fluorescent light bulbs with electronic ballasts using 50 percent less energy have been installed.
