Penske’s U.S. full-service truck leasing, commercial truck rental and contract maintenance customers have access to an array of free tools on the company’s smartphone-friendly websitehttp://m.gopenske.com/, and as an added convenience there’s no app to go find, download, or versions to worry about.
Launched last summer, Penske Truck Leasing was the first of the major truck leasing companies to announce the launch of a smartphone-friendly website and related customer tools.
Penske’s mobile website currently supports the latest iPhone, Android and Blackberry devices. The fast-loading website features large, easy-to-use buttons and icons with minimal text.
Penske’s search tool, combined with the smartphone’s GPS capabilities, enables customers to easily and quickly locate Penske’s vehicle maintenance facilities and commercial truck rental locations, as well as to contact the company’s 24/7 roadside assistance center when needed.
For example, if a Penske commercial customer is traveling in Oklahoma and is in need of Penske service locations in nearby Tulsa, Okla. The customer can:
- Select the Find a Location option on the home page
- Choose Fuel Stops or Service
- Access the address utilizing the phone’s GPS, or by typing in Tulsa
- Using the Within function, can find a Penske location from within 10 to 100 miles
- The site also features a Get Directions button, that allows the user to obtain door-to-door directions via Google Maps
Penske continues to work on adding more capabilities to its mobile-friendly website.
