Penske Showcases Utility Vehicle Maintenance Services
Penske Truck Leasing will return to this year’s National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA) TechAdvantage 2018 Conference & Expo from February 25-28 in Nashville, Tennessee, to showcase its contract maintenance services.
Penske maintains bucket trucks and other vehicles electric cooperatives and utilities use in servicing many communities across America.
Penske provides its skilled technicians with the latest training and diagnostic technology so they can offer best-in-class maintenance services either at its own facilities or on-site at the customer’s location.
“We’ve seen a tremendous increase in interest among electric cooperatives and utility companies in having Penske provide on-site services,” said Marshall Merz, national support executive at Penske. “With Penske techs on-site to handle all fleet maintenance activities, our customers can focus on what they do best – keeping power on for their members.”
Penske also serves as the primary point of contact for its customers, handling invoicing, payments, pick-ups, drop-offs and schedules with other maintenance vendors.
Through its contract maintenance services, Penske can help electric providers:
- Lower operating costs
- Save on procurement expenses
- Optimize vehicle uptime
- Extend years-of-service for trucks
